(Iowa) -- The man convicted in the first case investigated by the Iowa Cold Case Unit that led to a conviction has been sentenced.
The Iowa Attorney General's Office says Robert Davis of Council Bluffs has been sentenced to 50 years in prison for the murder of Barbara Lenz, who disappeared from Harrison County in 1989. An investigation by the Iowa Cold Case Unit led to Davis' arrest on March 20th of 2025. Davis was convicted of 2nd degree murder.
