Report: Ankeny 4th Best Place to Live in the Nation, 1st in Iowa

(Ankeny, IA) -- A new report ranks a Des Moines suburb as the best place to live in Iowa and one of the best in the nation.

U.S. News and World Report's latest Best Places to Live in the Nation Report ranks Ankeny as the 4th best in the country, and the top place to live in Iowa. The rankings include factors such as job market, overall value, quality of life, and desirability. Ankeny's ranking of 4th best place to live in the nation is a jump from 18th best in last year's report.

The report looked at 850 cities across the country and ranked 250 based on public surveys as well as multiple government, private sector, and U.S. News and World Report internal sources. The full report is available on the U.S. News and World Report website.
