(Des Moines, IA) -- The Iowa Chapter of Blue Star Mothers of America is inviting the public to line the routes today as the bodies of two Iowa soldiers killed in an Iranian attack are returned home. Major Jeffery O’Brien and Sgt Declan Coady were killed in a drone attack in Kuwait March 1.
The procession is expected to leave the airport shortly after 1:30 Thursday afternoon and proceed to their respective funeral homes. The map shows the route both will travel together in PURPLE from the airport, but then the routes will split along 63rd St.
Major O’Brien’s procession will continue along the GREEN route and Sgt Coady’s procession will continue along the ORANGE route.
