Nearly $4 Million in Grant Funds Awarded to Four Iowa Community Colleges

(Iowa) -- Four Iowa community colleges are being awarded nearly four million dollars in grant funding.

The funds come through the state's Career Academy Incentive Fund, which creates partnerships among community colleges, local businesses, and schools to provide students with access to career and technical education programs. Northwest Iowa Community College, North Iowa Area Community College, and Eastern Community Colleges each received $1 million dollars in competitive grants.

Des Moines Area Community College received $776,655 in grant funds.
