(Washington County, IA) -- The Iowa Department of Agriculture and Land Stewardship is confirming another case of bird flu.
The case was confirmed in a multi-species backyard flock in Washington County. This marks the fifth confirmed case of highly pathogenic avian influenza in Iowa so far this year. The Iowa Department of Agriculture and Land Stewardship recommends backyard flock owners take precautions to protect their flock and report birds showing symptoms of bird flu.
