(Iowa) -- The FDA is warning Iowans about a Rosabella brand product linked to a multistate outbreak of Salmonella Newport infections.
The advisory involves moringa powder capsules sold online in white plastic bottles with a green label and an expiration date of 2027.
At least three people have been hospitalized, and one case has been reported in Iowa.
Symptoms of salmonella usually develop 12 to 72 hours after consuming a contaminated product and can include diarrhea, fever, and stomach cramps.
