(Des Moines, IA) — Welcome‑home ceremonies are planned this week for members of the Iowa National Guard.
Events will be held in Des Moines and Sioux City on Wednesday for about 250 soldiers returning from Middle East deployments in support of national security missions. In December, two Guard members were killed by ISIS while serving in Syria.
