(Ames, IA) -- The remainder of the Iowa State University gymnastics season has been canceled.
The ISU Athletics Department announced the cancellation on Sunday. A university representative says the team does not have enough student‑athletes available to safely compete. The Cyclones were 2–8 so far this season and still had five meets remaining before the Big 12 Gymnastics Championships.
Fans with tickets to any remaining home meets will receive information about refunds this week.
