Week Long Blood Drive Underway To Back Local Law Enforcement

(Des Moines, IA ) -- Thursday is National Law Enforcement Appreciation Day, and you can back the blue... by giving red.

All week LifeServe Blood Center is hosting their annual Blue Blood Blood Drive. LifeServe Blood Center is partnering with Iowa C.O.P.S. (Concerns of Police Survivors) for the blood drive honoring our local law enforcement heroes.

Officers see the need for blood donations everyday while on the job, and there's always a great need after the holidays.
