(Omaha, NE) -- Members of Nebraska’s congressional delegation are giving up their pay during the federal government shutdown.
Congressmen Don Bacon, Mike Flood, and Adrian Smith, along with Senators Pete Ricketts and Deb Fischer, have announced they will forgo their paychecks until the shutdown ends.
Iowa’s four U.S. representatives have also requested that their pay be withheld.
Meanwhile, both sides of the aisle continue to blame one another for the shutdown, which has now entered its second day.
