Dozens Gather at Iowa Capitol for Charlie Kirk Vigil

(Des Moines, IA) — Dozens of people gathered at the Iowa State Capitol to hold a vigil for conservative activist Charlie Kirk.

"When it was first set up, it was called 'Justice for Charlie Kirk', that was before they caught the killer. But I think it turned into something better. We got people to express their opinions, and we got to express ours, just like Charlie would have," said Kael Moses, one of the organizers of the vigil.

Kirk was shot and killed last Wednesday while speaking at Utah Valley University.

Vigils are planned at the Iowa State Capitol in Des Moines tonight at 7 p.m. More information about vigils being held statewide is available on our Instagram at WHO Radio.
