(Ankeny, IA) -- A former Ankeny Middle School teacher and softball coach is pleading guilty to sexually exploited a student, and is sentenced to up to 20 years in prison.
Rachel Whiteside, 35, pleaded guilty to four felony charges.
She was arrested in February 2024 after evidence revealed that, beginning in 2015, she engaged in a sexual relationship with a 15-year-old student that lasted for seven years.
