Iowa Firefighter to Be Honored at National Memorial

(Cedar Falls, IA) -- An firefighter from Iowa, who died after a shift at Cedar Falls Fire Rescue, will be honored during the National Fallen Firefighters Memorial Weekend in Emmitsburg, Maryland. 56-year-old Capt. Brad Alan Sherwood suffered a heart attack and died at home on February 23rd. He is one of 140 firefighters who will be remembered at the National Emergency Training Center next weekend.
