Woman Charged After Weekend House Fire in Fort Dodge

(Fort Dodge, IA) -- One woman is facing arson charges after a weekend house fire in Fort Dodge. The Fort Dodge Fire Department says they were able to rescue one person from the roof of the burning home and two others from inside around 2 p.m. Sunday afternoon. Investigators say the fire appeared to be intentionally set. Fort Dodge Police later arrested 34-year-old Megan Freeman. She faces several charges, including first-degree arson and harassment. She's been booked in the Webster County Jail. No injuries are reported in the fire.
