(Jefferson, IA) -- The Iowa Racing & Gaming Commission's decision on a petition to stop the issuing of a casino license for Linn County was to make no decision at all.
The Commission held a hearing yesterday on the move by Riverside Casino and the Washington County Riverboat Authority to quash the application for a Cedar Rapids casino on the grounds that the wording of a 2021 community vote was incorrect.
The Commission decided to let the Linn County application process playout.
A decision is expected on the license application in two weeks.
