Clive Police Searching for Suspect in Wednesday Armed Bank Robbery

(Clive, IA) -- Clive Police say an investigation is underway after an armed bank robbery around 10 o'clock Wednesday morning.

Police say employees at Interstate Bank at 13150 Hickman Road reported the robbery. They say a male suspect entered the bank, jumped over the counter, and threatened employees at gun point. Employees say he later opened a safe and took an undetermined amount of cash before running out the front door. No one was hurt in the incident. So far the suspect has not been identified, and no arrests have been made. The suspect is being described as a large white male who wore a ski mask and goggles, dressed in Carhartt-style clothing.
