I can't wait for the mask mandate to go away so I can practice my smile again. I've smiled through the mask all the time to no avail it's an easy way to initiate a conversation. A smile is a form of reassurance that all is well so maybe covering them up was appropriate for the situation. Their will be those who will take a while to find their smiles having suffered the loss of a loved one but eventually it will return as healing beyond the physical self. You might want to practice it so folks won't mistake it as a snarl. Hopefully someday a smile will mean much more than the end of a pandemic it will mean that all mankind has found peace with each other.
