It has been more than welcoming news that life is starting a slow return to normal as the pandemic begins to lose it's grip. The farmer's market on Ames Main Street begins this Saturday. Another performance by Actors will grace the stage of C.Y. Stephens in a week, the Municipal band will bring the Thursday night concerts at Bandshell Park, and the Ames Jaycees will resume their Ames on the Half Shell Friday Nights in July. All of these will be held with some restrictions due to the pandemic but far less than before. Let's do our best to continue healthy habits and continue on the road to recovery, we're getting closer to complete recovery and it can't come soon enough.
