PEANUTS & CRACKERJACKS

I won't watch baseball on TV, I find it monotonous and boring. Having produced a few television games myself I know the great effort put forth to remedy this but the outcome was pretty much the same. Growing up I constantly caught the games on radio, a good announcer can paint a beautiful picture that sets you right behind home plate even though you're working on something else at home or out on an errand in your car. Honestly though the best place is at the ballpark itself, the ambience is amazing. The local baseball team as I was growing up was an one of the few affordable things my family could do. Sitting out on a warm summer night in the green wooden bleachers under the dim glow of the yellow bug lights shoving down anything dad would buy us as he taught us the right things to yell at the men in blue on the field. After the suspension of most of the games last year and limited attendance I'm booking my seats right now and saving my appetite for some Peanuts and Crackerjacks and maybe a hot dog or two. PLAAAAY BAAAALL!
