I've been riding motorcycles for almost 62 years and have witnessed going from a vehicle everyone used to be fascinated by to a common occurrence. The number of those riding has increased exponentially, so much so I kept tabs for 5 minutes one afternoon and counted 31, granted I live on a main road in town. I am, what I consider, a casual rider. Whatever I wear on my cycle is what I have on for the day, thus a motorcyclist, I love watching those who transition from "Everyday Joe" to the "Born to be Wild" Biker, Bandana, chains, chaps, leather jacket and of course butt kicking boots. It's amazing how the clothes change a persons attitude and image add in a large dose of tough guy ego and the transition is complete. Please don't consider this criticism just more an observation, I've always believed in being who you are with an occasional change to what you want to be, it makes everyday an adventure.
