I have been in the process of deciding whether to sell my VTX 1800 Honda motorcycle. With to bouts of cancer behind me and most of my strength returned I again have to evaluate my abilities to handle it safely. My wife knows my passion for riding but has also let me know she worries about me when I'm on it and has asked me for a deal, another convertible in place of it. Last year as I was recovering from cancer 2 and feeling extremely weak I gave in and bought an older 1999 SLK 230 Mercedes hardtop convertible. She didn't force me to sell my 2 wheeler and I certainly didn't push it. A couple of weeks ago I told her I was again debating whether to sell and she seemed ok with it but at the end of last week some one met my asking price and now the pressures on. This young man wanted to buy it last year but was poor timing for him and I told him when he decided it would work I would make the deal. I won't back down and step on his dream so I guess it's sold and I hope he enjoys it as much as I have. Chris' greatest fear is I'll get the itch again and I probably will but this time consider it scratched.
