To say the 2020-2021 college basket ball season was anti climatic for me would be a gross understatement. I make it no secret that I bleed Cardinal and Gold for Iowa State and they have never disappointed for the most part but this year with the worst season in basketball history even I need a transfusion. I have often been critiqued for using the word "We" when referring to the Cyclones, I don't intend to change that bad habit even if it does upset my sports colleagues, I have no objectivity when it comes to the team. Being the so called cockeyed optimist, I still have hopes of an NCAA seed after we win the Big 12 Tournament. Oklahoma is our first surprise win tonight and I'll close with my usual, GO CYCLONES! and a prayer everyone says we don't have.
