Sometimes Children

There are things that frightened us as children we may never get over. I was talking to some friends the other day who adamantly refused to get vaccinated. After a rather lengthy discussion the truth came out, they had a fear of the injection, the needle. I, cruelly laughed out loud and thought how juvenile, luckily I prevented myself from taunting them with a childish rhyme tempted as I was. Our conversation turned to other world problems we would once again solve, solutions of simplicity that no one would ever ask for. Later in the afternoon I had a fit of conscience, of all the phobias in the world why could I not accept one of needles? Always in a quest to further my knowledge I researched that fear, so here my friends I offer my apology and give you the correct term so you will never again utter the phrase "I'm a fraidy cat of needles" and burst into tears of embarrassment. You can't get a shot as you are suffering from "Trypanophobia" and it's gotten worse over the years. Most of us will give you an understanding look, even if we don't, so we can move onto, you guessed it, solving the worlds problems.
