The isolation caused by the pandemic is at times overwhelming, I live on a fairly busy street in our city and feel like the world is passing by every few minutes. Using my imagination, I often create scenarios as to where all these people are going and why. If it's North its to Super Walmart to buy a non necessity just to get out, if it's south the challenge is greater because of the multiple giant box stores but the reason is the same. I basically get out to the clinic, hospital, library and park and have for the last 7 months. I have convinced myself after having seen every episode of Mountain Men and Alaskan Living I could be one of those folks who can survive without the company of others, all I lack is the do it yourself skills, but then again why would I. I'll just sit here and watch the world go by until someday it will be safe to join it again, and then...LOOK OUT!!
