The Big 12, in partnership with the College Football Foundation and Lakeshore has given the Ames school district a gift of $50,000 to help the district to improve the existing classrooms, and to add new buildings and technologies for the students. a new athletic department is already on it's way, with a new high school being prepared to be built as well. Lakeshore has also paid to bring in new chairs, tables, and more for the School's still in use.
