DES MOINES, Iowa -- A Drake University building's being renovated thanks to a multi-million dollar gift.
The school says a $3 million gift to pay work on Meredith Hall is coming from the building's namesake.
Drake says the Meredith family will donate $2 million, and the Meredith Corporation Foundation-the charitable arm of the Des Moines-based Meredith publishing corporation-will donate $1 million.
Meredith Hall was built in 1965. It houses Drake's journalism school.
