We in L.A., Lovely Ames, have been cursed, as of late, with more than ample rainfall. Now as we prepare to celebrate our Independence and liberties Mother Nature is displaying her own fireworks except hers function perfectly in water. i can't remember there being this many Ames High Baseball and Softball games rained out. Even as I write this the tears of nature are streaming down the window while the sky continues to strobe. Fireworks, parades, concerts and picnics be damned, once again dampened by the things we can't control.
