HELLO TULSA, So long Ohio State!

Well another Big 12 Tournament Championship Trophy to find a place for. I have never been one to say "I told you so" at least that I'll admit but I said from the beginning of the week that we would win it. I am constantly reminded by friends and colleagues that I never pick against any Cyclone team. This is true, my heart won't let me even though my brain tells me different. Yesterday, during our morning Sports Special from Kansas City, I was asked to fine tune my prediction by giving the point difference at the end of the game "Iowa State by 12 I replied" need I say more? High point of the game for me did not take place on the court but the bench with about a minute left. Coach Prohm was trying to get the all important bench players into the game, they refused wanting those that played the game to finish. That was the most unselfish act of class I have ever witnessed and deserves a standing ovation. When we talk team effort we must recognize that begins during practice, the game is the end result. Proud to be a Cyclone, on to the NCAA...Ohio State is scheduled to be our first victim Friday night in Tulsa.....GO CYCLONES!

Iowa State and Ohio State meet in first round action in the NCAA Friday Night in Tulsa, Oklahoma. You'll not miss a single second of action when you follow the Cyclones on their Home Town Station, 1430 KASI-AM, 1430kasi.com and on your iHeart app!
