It seems like going bowling for the Iowa State Football team is finally getting to be a habit we hope isn't broke soon. No football fan wants to be sitting at home on their hands during post season. The game may actually be anti climatic for some people who are there for the festivities and sights that surround it. I've gone to some past bowls, but none as prestigious as this one, it should be an edge of the seat contest. I was listening to the Washington State Coach, Mike Leach, in what was a sincere attempt to compliment the state of Iowa where he at one time held an assistant coaching job at Iowa Wesleyan College in Mt. Pleasant. He inferred that no matter where we go we are always glad to get back to Iowa, why not, it's the best place in the Universe. The only problem we'll face after this bowl victory is taking us to a New Years Bowl next season. GOOOO CYCLOOONES!
