Ames High School target of on-line threat

Ames School District officials say an anonymous threat made to the high school prompted an increased police presence.  The district says it was notified on Saturday by Ames Police that there was an threat made online from out of state through an anonymous app. As police haven't found a direct connection to an Ames High School student or community member, the building was open Monday.  Ames police continue to research the threat, and will put additional officers in the building as an extra precaution.
