Damage was mostly to trees and crops, although there were reports of a roof being blown off a house and a garage destroyed near Creston, and report of hangar damage at the Centerville airport.

The storms also brought heavy rain to southern and south central Iowa.  A monitoring point near the Marion County town of Knoxville has measured eight inches of rain over 5 days.
