This year has been extraordinarily wet year not only in Iowa but across most of the nation, last week there was even a threat of a dam break in Arizona because of excessive rains. Today we sit in a flood watch for most of Iowa until Wednesday. My Grandmother told me that raindrops were actually angel tears as something has upset them. Well it must be pretty awful as they have been sobbing for days. Someone suggested to me that it might be because the farmers can't get in the fields to harvest, I told them that angels are smart enough to figure that one out. In this day where women struggle for proper recognition and respect I'm pretty sure "Mother" Nature reminds us of who's actually in charge.
