Previous obligation last Saturday night prevented me from watching the last 3 quarters of the game. I had already gotten a penalty assessed for hurling loud and abusive language. It was our anniversary and I was reminded where my focus should be. It was not until our trip home at about 10 pm I was able to get the final score. I had a DVR copy of the game but after several conversations with fans from both sides was advised to make Sunday a care free and fun day and erase it. My understanding is that this contest offered no glory to either side and bragging rights succumbed to a lackluster game. It is over and done for the year, I congratulate the Hawks and can only hope this game was an aberration for both teams and the season looks brighter ahead. I'm still holding the DVR in reserve but at the moment hold little thought to watching it. Lot's of work to do before we meet Oklahoma next weekend but we are up to the task, sometimes down but NEVER OUT! Too much talent and a great coaching team means a Bowl ahead...GO CYCLONES!
