Tibbetts' accused killer makes court appearance

Bail for the man accused of murdering Mollie Tibbetts has been raised to $5 million. Cristhian Bahena Rivera, 24, made an initial court apeparance Wednesday. Investigators say he followed Mollie Tibbetts and ultimately dumped her body in a corn field.  His preliminary hearing is scheduled for August 31st.  Rivera is accused of abducting Tibbetts and murdering her on July 18th, then burying her body under corn stalks in a field in rural Poweshiek County.
