Ames is one four cities that will host additional Future Ready Iowa summits. Gov. Reynolds' office says Ames, Centerville, Creston, and Sioux City will host regional summits in October in addition to events announced last month in nine other Iowa cities. The Ames summit will be held October 9th to discuss solutions to workforce development issues. The Future Ready Iowa program's goal is to have 70 percent of Iowans get training or education beyond high school by 2025.
