Ernst, Reynolds on farm aid package

Some of Iowa's elected leaders are concerned about an aid package going to farmers. Senator Joni Ernst and Governor Kim Reynolds both mentioned the short-term nature of the $12 billion aid package Tuesday in statements released by their offices. Ernst said morale may jump temporarily, but new markets and trade deals are the better solution. Reynolds also mentioned access to markets as a huge key for farmers and she also talked about the importance of the Renewable Fuel Standard.
