A central Iowa child has died from an E.Coli infection. The Southeast Polk Community School Cistrict says second-grader Natalie Baker died Friday. Her mother said the death was very sudden, and urges parents to be on the lookout for signs of illness in their children, especially if they complain of a stomach ache. The district says the school’s counselor will be available for anyone who needs support. An email sent to parents from the school’s principal and counselor offers information on talking with children about death.
