Iowa school safety law takes effect Sunday

A bill focused on school safety becomes law in Iowa on Sunday.  Governor Kim Reynolds signed the measure back in April that requires a school district to come up with a plan to address things like school shootings.  A drill would happen at least once every school year to make sure the plan is being followed.  The school safety plan would also be subject to an annual review.
