Iowa "Safe Haven" law expands Sunday

Iowa's "Safe Haven" law is expanding on Sunday.  Governor Reynolds signed a bill in March that will allow a parent to relinquish custody within the child's first 30 days of life.  parents wouldn't be prosecuted if the child is turned over to hospital personnel.  the law also lets a first responder take the child if a parent calls 911.
