Iowa A.G. decries family separation at U.S. border

Iowa Attorney General Tom Miller joins 20 other attorneys general calling on federal officials to end the practice of separating children from their parents along the U.S.- Mexico border.  In a letter to U.S. Attorney General Jeff Sessions and Homeland Security Secretary Kirstjen Nielsen, the state AGs demanded an end to what they call "cruel and illegal actions against children and families lawfully seeking asylum."  The letter also states the practice directly interferes with the efforts of police agencies, is contrary to American values, and must be stopped.
