Governor Reynolds has issued a disaster proclamation for seven northern Iowa counties after severe weather and flooding dating back to June 7th. The proclamation applies to Allamakee, Bremer, Chickasaw, Cerro Gordo, Floyd, Howard and Winneshiek counties. It activates the iowa individual assistance grant and the disaster case management programs. grant applications must be submitted in the next 45 days and funding can be used to help with temporary housing, home or car repairs, and replacement of food and clothing.
