Summer is unofficially here, I measure that by the passing of Scandinavian Days in Story City which again lived up to and beyond expectations. Now we have the opportunity to travel the state and share pride in community and heritage. There's Sauerkraut Days, Watermelon Days, Lincoln Highway Days, Prairie Days and Pufferbilly Days just to name a few. Dayton Rodeo, County Fairs, State Fair, RAGBRAI, 4th of July celebrations, Iowa Games, not to mention the farmers markets across the state and so many more. If you can't find something to do each weekend and between you're just not trying. Take some time and enjoy Iowa!
