Many people in southern Iowa are still being advised to boil their water. A drinking water warning issued Friday by the Southern Iowa Rural Water Association is still in effect. SIRWA General Manager Dan McIntosh says he hopes to know more soon about a possible delivery of some needed parts for a malfunctioning purification system. The warning touches parts of Adair, Adams, Clarke, Decatur, Madison, Ringgold, Taylor, and Union counties.
