Iowa State guard Lindell Wigginton is returning to the Cyclones. ISU announced Wednesday afternoon that the Nova Scotia native has withdrawn from the NBA draft. Wigginton says in the statement he wants to be one of the best guards in college basketball and help the Cyclones to a national championship. Wigginton averaged 16.7 points, 3.7 rebounds and 2.8 assists a game as a freshman last season. He had worked out for multiple NBA teams but was not invited to the league's draft combine. Wednesday was the last day underclassman could withdraw from the draft and retain collegiate eligibility.
