Iowa's primary election day is a week away. Democrats will decide their nominee for governor and secretary of state. They are also in contested primary races the 1st, 3rd, and 4th Congressional districts. Republicans also have primaries to settle next week--they include the battle between five people in the race for secretary of agriculture. Primaries will also be decided by voters of both parties in numerous state House and Senate races.
