Iowa farmers are making significant planting progress. Despite wet field conditions and scattered rain across the state, Iowa Agriculture Secretary Mike Naig says 86 percent of corn and 58 percent of soybeans have been planted. Northwest and north-central Iowa remain behind the rest of the state, but were still able to make headway last week.
