Clarksville's Maddie Poppe won TV's "American Idol" Monday. She gets a recording contract along with $250,000. "Idol" judge Katy Perry tweeted her congratulations to Poppe as did many in Iowa, including Governor Kim Reynolds. The show also featured a surprising twist as viewers found out Poppe and runner-up Caleb Lee Hutchinson are a couple.
