Planting rates vary across Iowa

Iowa Secretary of Agriculture says progress in planting still varies greatly across the state. Mike Naig says conditions have allowed 65 percent of corn and 33 percent of soybeans to be planted but northwest and north-central Iowa are still lagging behind due to wet conditions. Fewer than four days were suitable for fieldwork last week.
