A Boone staple could be closing its doors after more than 50 years in business. The Boone Theater shows seven movies a week with an average audience of around 300 people. To stay open, the business needs to repair the roof to prevent leaks from damaging the film projection equipment. The owner of the theater says she's reached out to the community for help and so far they've raised more than $2,000 through a GoFundMe page.
