Number of uninsured Iowans increases

The number of Iowans without health insurance has increased in the last year.  A new survey by Gallup says Iowa's rate rose to 7.2 percent in 2017. That's a jump from 3.9 percent in 2016. Iowa is one of four states along with West Virginia, New Mexico, and Hawaii to have at least a three percentage point rise in its uninsured rate.
